A criminal defense lawyer in Broward County, Florida, announces the results section of his website, Broward Criminal Lawyer, is now updated to reflect recent verdicts for his criminal cases in the state.
Visitors may now see the results of actual criminal cases tried to conclusion by Gottlieb during a criminal trial, but the attorney stresses that these results are posted for educational purposes and not as an assurance that any previous successes may be used as an indication of future success or results.
Gottlieb's areas of practice include violent crimes, drug crimes and criminal law in Florida and he has obtained not guilty verdicts for clients charged with charges that include DUI, attempted murder in the first degree, burglary, attempted murder 2 with a firearm, battery on a law enforcement officer, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, among other cases.
In addition to his work as a trial lawyer in Florida, Gottlieb also frequently appears on local and national media, commenting on legal issues and cases. His recent appearances include spots on HLN discussing the kidnapping of 16-year-old Hannah Anderson by a family friend, the Josh Young trial and the possibility of a plea deal in the case of Ariel Castro, who was convicted of kidnapping, raping and enslaving three women for a decade. Many of these television appearances may also be viewed through Gottlieb's website in the media section.
Gottlieb has been a practicing criminal defense lawyer for two decades and, prior to joining the Broward County Public Defender's Office, he served as a clerk at the Broward County Sheriff's Office as a legal assistant. After working as an Assistant Public Defender for three years, he formed his own firm. He has handled thousands of cases and tried more than 100 criminal jury trials to verdict. He has had many cases successfully dismissed by pre-trial motion and he is experienced in seeking out deficiencies that weaken the prosecution's case against his client.
His work has earned him an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell, as well as a Client Distinction Award from the client reviewed Lawyers, both honors he has held for many years.
